As a single mom of three, there are times when money is very tight. Close to Thanksgiving, I was washing dishes and worrying over food because we were running out and there weren’t funds to cover more groceries. I heard a knock on the door and when I opened it, there was April with Taylor Faith Ministries, with a HUGE, HEAVY box of food. I cried because TFM answered an unspoken prayer. My three kids received backpacks with school supplies and new pairs of shoes for school. Again, another unspoken prayer answered. Having new backpacks, school supplies, and shoes answered more than a basic need. Taylor Faith Ministries has answered so many prayers in both big and little ways. I can’t adequately express how much this ministry means to my family, but more importantly, my children. Thank you for what you do. Just a phone call away. We have heard this phrase our whole lives, but have we ever thought of what it really means? It implies that if anyone is in need, they only need to call to initiate help. Here at Sevierville Middle School, we have found a friend and rescuer in Taylor Faith Ministries. For Taylor Faith Ministries, “Just a phone call away” is not just a casual saying, but their mission. Taylor Faith Ministries provides shoes and other basic needs to children. This ministry is a lifeline for our students who lack the basic essentials required for day-to-day life. They partner with Sevierville Middle School and supply students in need with basic necessities so that their focus can be on learning. We can’t say enough about our gratitude for the organization and their donation of shoes and socks for our students. While shoes are Taylor Faith’s primary focus, they have branched out to help Sevierville Middle School with hygiene items, coats, food, water bottles, and clothes as well. Thank you Taylor Faith Ministries for allowing students to progress and improve their outlook on their circumstances and helping them move toward academic excellence here at Sevierville Middle School. – D. For many years I have witnessed the generosity and kindness of TFM for students at New Center School. Over one school year, our school was blessed with over 100 pair of shoes with socks for students that needed them. I have witnessed many times, the look of pure joy through the eyes of a child when they put on the new pair. Last year, we were blessed amazingly with TFM reusable water bottles. Students took pride using them and carrying them day by day. My greatest joy came when asked what Taylor Faith Ministries was when they saw the logo on the bottle. With pride I could say, “it is a local ministry that takes care of our students with love, prayer, and kindness”.  Thank you for everything! Kelli Bohanan
